Rote memorization may not be too exciting, but if you want to excel in medical school, you have to show your professors that you know your stuff. They had to learn it, and so do you. Use mnemonic devices to remember long lists of material, and test yourself constantly. It can be even more helpful to randomly test your friends and have them test you.
